During his tenure with Capgemini and Zuora, Shafkat honed his skills in subscription-based billing, developing complex enterprise solutions in the telecom, finance, and data industries, and was a valuable member of Zuora’s journey from a startup to IPO. He then transitioned into the AdTech and MarTech space, where he navigated the intricacies of usage-based and metric-based billing firsthand. He did this as both an architect and a seller, as it is common practice in those industries to sell against usage metrics. He understands both the challenges and the immense potential of this model, and has the experience to help customers be successful via robust and durable architecture.
