Top 20 AI Pricing Pages

Key takeaways

  • Pricing on websites - majority of companies share pricing on their website. As expected a few of the pure B2B players do not: Sierra and Harvey.
  • Big variation in number of pricing tiers - variations from 2 - 7(!). Most common being 3 or 4 total, with 2-3 price tiers and a “contact us” enterprise version.
  • Free versions are extremely popular for initial adoption  - free trials have been removed by almost all companies and replaced by a free version with limited capabilities or usage. Likely to ensure high usage, low churn and gradual upgrades.
  • Subscription-based still dominating -  Basically all companies offer either a pure subscription-based model or a hybrid (subscription + usage).
  • Most have a usage-based component - Most companies have a variation of a usage-based component either through tokens or credits.
  • Limited pricing innovation - Only one company (Sierra) offers an outcome-based model for their AI Agents. They have chosen to align incentives fully with the customer and will only charge once they deliver the desired outcome.

Key Learnings from the Top 20 AI Pricing Pages

To wrap it up there are a few clear pricing page trends that we are seeing:

  • Most AI companies display pricing openly, favoring transparency and self-serve onboarding, while some enterprise-focused players keep pricing gated to drive demo bookings.
  • The standard model includes 3–4 pricing tiers with usage-based elements layered onto a subscription base, and nearly all offer a free tier instead of time-limited trials to boost adoption.
  • Despite the innovation in AI itself, pricing structures remain fairly conventional, with Sierra being the only example of true innovation through outcome-based pricing.

In our view effective pricing pages consistently showcase clean design, clear feature comparisons, strong persona guidance, and upsell paths via both usage and feature tiers.

Overall, the best pricing pages balance simplicity, transparency, and guidance to match diverse user needs and drive conversion.
